Bib Gourmand. Made reservations ahead of time for lunch. Parking on the street around the corner. Small cramped space. We were seated 15 minutes early which was nice. We ordered the
Nancy's Chopped Salad 19- very much an Italian salad with cheese and salami. Hefty amount but like another reviewer mentioned the cheese and salami is sparse. Overall, good.
Bacon, Salame, Fennel Sausage, Guanciale, Tomato & Mozzarella 25 - Enough for two to share but will be really filling for one person. The crust is thin but held up very well. The crust was chewy and really good. My husband loves pizza and this is really up there for him.
The reason for the 4 stars is the service. We were seated really close to two other although much older couple. The service was by no means amazing but the other two couple got much better service than we did. No one checked in to see how the food was. I would much have preferred if we all the got the same luke warm service but to see the same waiter pay us no attention while the other couples next to us got the standard really left a sour taste. -

Visited Pizzeria Mozza for the first time when hosting some friends from Germany. Great spot to grab some pizza after shopping on Melrose.
We ended up sitting at the bar due to how busy it was.
We ordered the Prosciutto pizza, Nancy's Chopped salad and the Mushroom pizza. The salad was pretty standard, was delicious but nothing extra special about it.
The pizzas were great though. Nice fresh flavors and ingredients with a great crust.
Detracted a star because of the smaller space. I can see how there are often longer wait times due to the limited seating. Try to visit at an off hour. But thumbs up for the delicious food. -

This place holds a special spot in my stomach for favorite pizza crust. My decision to come here was kinda last minute, so I wasn't able to get any reservations for a Saturday night dinner. For a group of 5 who walked in, we waited about 40 minutes and luckily they were able to squeeze us at a table. Next time, I would try to get reservations a month in advance though.
We ordered the Chicken Liver Bruschette, Squash Blossoms, Tomato & Buratta pizza, and Prosciutto, Rucola, Tomato & Mozzarella di Bufala pizza. Everything was delicious!
The chicken liver was flavorful and is a great appetizer to share. The squash blossoms pizza was light and the prosciutto pizza was tasty. The crust was the best part! It is chewy and firm.
The pizzas are pricey for the size, but it was an enjoyable meal and the quality is great. Would definitely come back next time I'm feeling like I want a fancy pizza. -

I am a California Native and I have been an Angeleno for a long time. I have to say, that I have never had better pizza anywhere in LA...hands down this is my favorite pizza spot. I had a hard time not stopping today on the way home from work...I have been craving it since I was there last week.
Met with a friend and we got to work on the menu. Walked in and immediately felt a good vibe, now, that might have a little bit to do with the glass of Blanc de Morgex my friend had waiting for me and squash blossoms that came next. Ah-mazing! YUM! Next came our pizza the BLT...YAAASS!!! I have never had such a delicious gourmet pizza. The crust...heavenly!
I love how you can watch the pizza masters put your ingredients together on the crust and put it into the wood fire oven! I think I want to try the prosciutto, rucola, tomato and mozzarella pizza next time. -

I'm pretty picky with pizza. Most notably I like a thin and well baked crust on the verge of crunchy. I'm the type of person who enjoys rebaked/retoasted pizza more than fresh out of the oven. However, the crust here was really great; I loved the char bubbles.
The ingredient and sauce ratio to crust was perfect.
We got 2 pizzas to share. The mushrooms had great flavor and the cheeses complemented the whole thing. Great mouth feel. My favorite pizza was the one with all the meats. Guanciale mmmmm. The meats added a wonderful savory saltiness to the tomato sauce. The sausage could've been smaller for better meat distribution. They use really great ingredients, and it's evident in the taste and flavors that come through each bite. And it was even better the next morning when I got to retoast a couple slices
We also got a glass of their orange wine. It was juicy in the beginning but dried out to a vanilla-y ending note. Really interesting to try.
Loved the place and ambiance but the immigrant in me was sad at the price after growing up on Little Caesar's hahah.
